From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Old Washington was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<6>

From that list, the Old Washington post office opened in 1911.

We also found Old Washington mentioned on a train schedule titled Greyhound Bus Time Table (November 1931).
