Welcome to MacBride ...

So far, we found very little information about MacBride. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added MacBride to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. We would especially like to find the location of MacBride - knowing its coordinates, we can explore things like its relationship to neighboring communities, nearby cemeteries, etc. If you can help us with MacBride, please Contact Us.

While we don't have the exact location of MacBride , we believe that it would have been located within present day Delaware County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of MacBride, you might consider that their post office opened in 1894.

Time Zone: The area where MacBride was located is in the Eastern Time Zone (EST/EDT) and observes daylight saving time

Adding MacBride to Our Gazetteer ...

As we work on our Gazetteer, we occasionally find mention of a community that is new to us. When we find such a community, we add it to our Gazetteer with the hope of adding more information in the future.

The earliest source we've referenced which mentioned MacBride was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<3>

From that list, the MacBride post office opened in 1894.
