With a 2010 count of 237 people, the population of Lockbourne decreased 15.36% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 280 people).

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Lockbourne was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<7>

From that list, the Lockbourne post office opened in 1839.

We also found Lockbourne in the book titled U.S. Post Offices (Oct. 1846).
