Welcome to Groton ...

So far, we found very little information about Groton. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added Groton to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. We would especially like to find the location of Groton - knowing its coordinates, we can explore things like its relationship to neighboring communities, nearby cemeteries, etc. If you can help us with Groton, please Contact Us.

While we don't have the exact location of Groton , we believe that it would have been located within present day Erie County<2>.

Time Zone: The area where Groton was located is in the Eastern Time Zone (EST/EDT) and observes daylight saving time

Communities Also Named Groton ...

Using our Gazetteer, we found that there are two Ohio communities named Groton: This one is located in Erie County and the other is located in Putnam County.

Beyond Ohio, there are 9 communities that are also named Groton - they are located in Connecticut, Kansas (2), Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, South Dakota and Vermont.
