Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Cincinnati had an population of 304,445 people. This is an increase of 2.53% since the 2010 Census (or a decrease of 8.1% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Cincinnati had a population of 296,943 people (or 37.01% of the total population of Hamilton County). This makes Cincinnati the county's most populous community.

The population of Cincinnati represents 2.57% of the population of Ohio (which has 11,536,504 people), making it the state's 3rd most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 296,943 people, the population of Cincinnati decreased 10.37% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 331,285 people).

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Cincinnati was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<8>

From that list, the Cincinnati post office opened in 1794.
