So far, we found very little information about Brashears. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added Brashears to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. While we don't have the exact location of Brashears , we believe that it would have been located within present day Hocking County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Brashears, you might get a feel for it by knowing that the earliest mention that we've found (so far) was in a book dated 1895.

Time Zone: The area where Brashears was located is in the Eastern Time Zone (EST/EDT) and observes daylight saving time

Brashears would have been located in the (740) area code.
