A note taken from the Shipper's Guide for Avery: Avery is contained in a comprehensive list of Post Offices that was created by Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<1> From that list: The Avery post office opened in Services available in 1895: had a Post Office, a Railroad Station, a Express Office.
