From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Red House was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<7>

X2X - From that list, the Red House post office opened in 1866.

We also found Red House in the book titled List of Post Offices in the United States (1870).
