Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Galway had an population of 193 people. This is a decrease of 3.5% since the 2010 Census (or a decrease of 9.81% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Galway had a population of 200 people. This makes Galway the county's 30th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 200 people, the population of Galway decreased 6.54% from the 2000 Census (with a count of 214 people).

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Galway was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<6>

From that list, the Galway post office opened in 1802.

We also found Galway in the book titled U.S. Post Offices (1803).
