Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Fabius had an population of 333 people. This is a decrease of 5.4% since the 2010 Census (or a decrease of 6.2% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Fabius had a population of 352 people. This makes Fabius the county's 35th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 352 people, the population of Fabius has remained roughly the same as the 2000 Census (which had a count of 355 people).

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Fabius was in the book titled U.S. Post Offices (1803).

We also found Fabius in the book titled .<8> X3X - From that list, the Fabius post office opened in 1816.
