While we don't have a date for the founding of Springdale, you might consider that their post office opened in 1907. While the community is gone, the present day location for Springdale is 3,830 feet [1,167 m] above sea level.<3> In other words, the elevation of Springdale is about ¾ mile [or ~1¼ km] above sea level.
