Welcome to Mammoth ...

So far, we found very little information about Mammoth. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added Mammoth to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. We would especially like to find the location of Mammoth - knowing its coordinates, we can explore things like its relationship to neighboring communities, nearby cemeteries, etc. If you can help us with Mammoth, please Contact Us.

While we don't have the exact location of Mammoth , we believe that it would have been located within present day Douglas County<2>.

Communities Also Named Mammoth ...

Using our Gazetteer, we found that there are two Nevada communities named Mammoth: This one is located in Douglas County and the other is located in Nye County.

Beyond Nevada, there are 12 communities that are also named Mammoth - they are located in Arizona, California, Florida, Missouri, Montana, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, West Virginia and Wyoming (2).
