Welcome to Icarus ...

So far, we found very little information about Icarus. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added Icarus to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. We would especially like to find the location of Icarus - knowing its coordinates, we can explore things like its relationship to neighboring communities, nearby cemeteries, etc. If you can help us with Icarus, please Contact Us.

While we don't have the exact location of Icarus , we believe that it would have been located within present day Elko County<2>.

As we work on our Gazetteer, we occasionally find mention of a community that is new to us. When we find such a community, we add it to our Gazetteer with the hope of adding more information in the future.
