So far, we found very little information about Crows Nest. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

Crows Nest would have been located within present day Nye County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Crows Nest, you might get a feel for it by knowing that the earliest mention that we've found (so far) was on a map dated 1883.

While the community is gone, the present day location for Crows Nest is 4,760 feet [1,451 m] above sea level.<3> In other words, the elevation of Crows Nest is about 1 mile [or ~1½ km] above sea level.

Time Zone: The area where Crows Nest was located is in the Pacific Time Zone (PST/PDT) and observes daylight saving time
