When the people of Clinton referred to themselves (known as a demonym), they are believed to have used Clintonian<4> While the community is gone, the present day location for Clinton is 7,250 feet [2,210 m] above sea level.<5> In other words, the elevation of Clinton is about 1¼ mile [or ~2¼ km] above sea level.
