So far, we found very little information about Thorne. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

While we don't have the exact location of Thorne , we believe that it would have been located within present day Dona Ana County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Thorne, you might consider that their post office opened in 1881.

Time Zone: The area where Thorne was located is in the Mountain Time Zone (MST/MDT) and observes daylight saving time

If Thorne still existed, it would have been in the (575) area code.

From that list, the Thorne post office opened in 1881.
