So far, we found very little information about San Felipe. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added San Felipe to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. While we don't have the exact location of San Felipe , we believe that it would have been located within present day Socorro County<2>.

Using our Gazetteer, we found that there are two New Mexico communities named San Felipe: This one is located in Socorro County and the other is located in Sandoval County.

Beyond New Mexico, there are 4 communities that are also named San Felipe - they are located in California (2) and Texas.
