While we don't have a date for the founding of Ricardo, you might consider that their post office opened in 1908. While the community is gone, the present day location for Ricardo is 4,410 feet [1,344 m] above sea level.<3> In other words, the elevation of Ricardo is about ¾ mile [or ~1¼ km] above sea level.
