So far, we found very little information about Mitchell. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added Mitchell to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. While we don't have the exact location of Mitchell , we believe that it would have been located within present day Lea County<2>.
