At the time of the 2010 Census, Las Vegas had a population of 13,753 people (or 46.79% of the total population of San Miguel County). This makes Las Vegas the county's most populous community. The population of Las Vegas represents 0.67% of the total population of New Mexico (which has 2,059,179 people), making it the state's 15th most populous community.
