Welcome to Hollene ...So far, we found very little information about Hollene. The location of Hollene has been provided by the Geographic Names Information System (ie- the GNIS).<3> While we don't have a date for the founding of Hollene, you might consider that their post office opened in 1907. While the community is gone, the present day location for Hollene is 4,400 feet [1,341 m] above sea level.<4> In other words, the altitude of Hollene is about ¾ mile [or ~1¼ km] above sea level. Time Zone: The area where Hollene was located is in the Mountain Time Zone (MST/MDT) and observes daylight saving time Note: If you travel east from Hollene (for example, toward Hereford (TX)), you will leave Mountain Time and cross into the Central Time Zone (CST/CDT).
