While we don't have a date for the founding of Hagan, you might consider that their post office opened in 1903. While the community is gone, the present day location for Hagan is 5,780 feet [1,762 m] above sea level.<3> In other words, the elevation of Hagan is about 1 mile [or ~1¾ km] above sea level.
