Hagan would have been located within present day Sandoval County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Hagan, you might consider that their post office opened in 1903.

While the community is gone, the present day location for Hagan is 5,780 feet [1,762 m] above sea level.<3> In other words, the elevation of Hagan is about 1 mile [or ~1¾ km] above sea level.

Time Zone: The area where Hagan was located is in the Mountain Time Zone (MST/MDT) and observes daylight saving time

We originally found mention of Hagan in the GNIS. For more information, see the Referenced GNIS Codes section on our Miscellaneous Page.

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found (so far) for Hagan was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<5>

From that list, the Hagan post office opened in 1903. The Hagan post office closed in 1931.
