Welcome to Gage ...Although we found mention of Gage during our research, we have little information about it.<1> Given the context of how Gage was mentioned, we believe that it was a community rather than a locale or some type of landmark. We have done a cursory search and if it was a community, we haven't been able to find any evidence that it still exists.. While we are confident that Gage was located in Grant County, we don't know its actual location within the county. We've added Gage to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. We would especially like to find the location of Gage - knowing its coordinates, we can explore things like its relationship to neighboring communities, nearby cemeteries, etc. If you can help us with Gage, please Contact Us. Time Zone: The area where we believe that Gage might be (or was) located is in the Mountain Time Zone (MST/MDT) and observes daylight saving time We believe that Gage would be found within the (575) area code. Communities Also Named Gage ...Using our Gazetteer, we have found that there are two New Mexico communities named Gage: This one is located in Grant County and the other is located in Luna County. Beyond New Mexico, there are 15 communities that are also named Gage - they are located in Alabama, Alberta, California, Kentucky, Missouri, Montana, New York, North Carolina (2), Ohio, Oklahoma (2), Texas and West Virginia. When we find such a community, we add it to our Gazetteer with the hope of adding more information in the future. Our notes show that the earliest dated mention that we've found for Gage was in the Business Atlas and Shippers' Guide (1895).
