While we don't have a date for the founding of Cloverdale, you might consider that their post office opened in 1912. While the community is gone, the present day location for Cloverdale is 5,260 feet [1,603 m] above sea level.<3> In other words, the elevation of Cloverdale is about 1 mile [or ~1½ km] above sea level.
