So far, we found very little information about Cantarecio. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added Cantarecio to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. While we don't have the exact location of Cantarecio , we believe that it would have been located within present day Socorro County<2>.
