The Commemorative Quarter for New Mexico

Do you know of Archuleta ???

When we encounter a name that is new to us, we add it to our Gazetteer - that's the case with Archuleta.

This entry has been created as a placeholder - we hope to develop more information in the future.

This entry could be in error. It might be that our source had a mis-print, was simply wrong or we made a transcription error while referencing it. We hope to learn more about Archuleta in the future.

We found mention of Archuleta as a post office, but can't determine its location - other than being located somewhere in Bernalillo County, New Mexico.

It's common that the post office is named the same as the community in which it's located (although that's not always case). In this case, we can't match this post office to any of the existing communities in our gazetteer.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Archuleta, you might consider that their post office opened  in 1888.

Communities Also Named Archuleta ...

Using our Gazetteer, we found that there are two New Mexico communities named Archuleta: This one is located in Bernalillo County and the other is located in San Juan County.
