Welcome to Apache ...

So far, we have found very little information about Apache. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We believe that Apache was located in Union County, we don't know its actual location within the county.

We've added Apache to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. We would especially like to find the location of Apache - knowing its coordinates, we can explore things like its relationship to neighboring communities, nearby cemeteries, etc. If you can help us with Apache, please Contact Us.

While we don't have the exact location of Apache, we believe that it would have been located within present day Union County.

Time Zone: The area where Apache was located is in the Mountain Time Zone (MST/MDT) and observes daylight saving time

If Apache still existed, it would have been in the (575) area code.

Communities Also Named Apache ...

Using our Gazetteer, we have found that there are two New Mexico communities named Apache: This one is located in Union County and the other is located in Otero County.

Beyond New Mexico, there are 6 communities that are also named Apache - they are located in Arizona (2), Colorado, Nevada and Oklahoma.

Footnotes ...

<1>We use the term 'Historic' broadly and it generally means that the community no longer exists. However, it can also mean that the community might still exist, but was significantly larger or had a more 'official' existence in the past than it does now. Unfortunately our sources of data have proven to be unreliable. If you can provide us with more specific information about Apache, please let us know so that we can improve our accuracy.
