Sandy Hill was located on the south coast of Newfoundland (on the Cabot Strait, at Hermitage Bay).

Time Zone: The area where Sandy Hill was located is in the Newfoundland Time Zone (NST/NDT) and observes daylight saving time. The time zone in French: NST- Heure Normale de Terre-Neuve (HNT).

If Sandy Hill still existed, it would have been in the (709) area code.
