So far, we found very little information about Riverhead. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

Riverhead was located on the west coast of Newfoundland (on the Gulf of Saint Lawrence, at the Bay of Islands).
While the community is gone, the present day location for Riverhead is near sea level<2>.
