Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Nashua had an population of 89,482 people. This is an increase of 3.45% since the 2010 Census (or an increase of 3.32% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Nashua had a population of 86,494 people (or 21.58% of the total population of Hillsborough County). This makes Nashua the county's 2nd most populous community.

The population of Nashua represents 6.57% of the population of New Hampshire (which has 1,316,470 people), making it the state's 2nd most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 86,494 people, the population of Nashua has remained roughly the same as the 2000 Census (which had a count of 86,605 people).

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Nashua was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<7>

From that list, the Nashua post office opened in 1837.

We also found Nashua in the book titled U.S. Post Offices (Oct. 1846).
