Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Colebrook had an population of 2,138 people. This is a decrease of 7.08% since the 2010 Census (or a decrease of 7.88% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Colebrook had a population of 2,301 people (which is 6.96% of the total population of Coos County). This makes Colebrook the county's 5th most populous community.

The population of Colebrook represents 0.17% of the population of New Hampshire (which has 1,316,470 people), making it the state's 130th most populous community.
