While our initial information about Bellwood came from various goverment sources (GNIS, US Census, FIPS), we also found mention of Bellwood in various books and other sources.

We've created the following list to keep track of the sources that proved useful in adding to our knowledge about Bellwood. We hope that they will be useful to you.

Bellwood is contained in a comprehensive list of Post Offices that was created by Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<1>

From that list:

The Bellwood post office opened in Services available in 1895: had a Post Office, a Railroad Station, a Express Office.
