Miscellaneous References and MentionsWhile our initial information about Wild Rice came from various goverment sources (GNIS, FIPS), we also found mention of Wild Rice in various books and other sources. We've created the following list to keep track of the sources that proved useful in adding to our knowledge about Wild Rice. We hope that they will be useful to you. A note taken from the Shipper's Guide for Wild Rice: Wild Rice is contained in a comprehensive list of Post Offices that was created by Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<1> From that list: The Wild Rice post office opened in Services available in 1895: had a Post Office, a Railroad Station, a Express Office.
