From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for New Leipzig was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<6>

From that list, the New Leipzig post office opened in 1910.

We also found New Leipzig on a map titled Rand McNally Map of North Dakota (1937).
