At the time of the 2010 Census, White Lake had a population of 802 people. This makes White Lake the county's 4th most populous community.
With a 2010 count of 802 people, the population of White Lake increased 51.61% from the 2000 Census (with a count of 529 people).
Using our Gazetteer, we found that there are 10 communities that are also named White Lake - they are located in British Columbia, Manitoba, Michigan, New York (2), Ontario (3), South Dakota and Wisconsin.

We originally found mention of White Lake in both the FIPS-55 and the GNIS. For more information, see the FIPS and GNIS Codes sections on our Miscellaneous Page.
From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for White Lake was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<8>
From that list, the White Lake post office opened in 1912.
We also found White Lake on a map titled Shell Oil Road Map for North Carolina (1956).
