So far, we found very little information about Redwater. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

Redwater would have been located within present day McCone County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Redwater, you might consider that their post office opened  in 1911.

While the community is gone, the present day location for Redwater is 2,320 feet [707 m] above sea level.<3> In other words, the altitude of Redwater is about ½ mile above sea level.
