From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Lindsay was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<7>

From that list, the Lindsay post office opened in 1908.

We also found Lindsay on a map titled Hixson Map of Montana (1950).
