Julian would have been located within present day Daniels County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Julian, you might consider that their post office opened in 1911.

While the community is gone, the present day location for Julian is 2,440 feet [744 m] above sea level.<3> In other words, the elevation of Julian is about ½ mile above sea level.

Time Zone: The area where Julian was located is in the Mountain Time Zone (MST/MDT) and observes daylight saving time

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found (so far) for Julian was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<5>

From that list, the Julian post office opened in 1911. The Julian post office closed in 1921.
