While we don't have a date for the founding of Fattig, you might consider that their post office opened in 1903. While the community is gone, the present day location for Fattig is 3,480 feet [1,061 m] above sea level.<3> In other words, the elevation of Fattig is about ¾ mile [or ~1 km] above sea level.
