At the time of the 2010 Census, Fairfield had a population of 708 people (or 11.66% of the total population of Teton County). This makes Fairfield the county's 2nd most populous community. The population of Fairfield represents 0.07% of the population of Montana (which has 989,415 people), making it the state's 70th most populous community.
