The community of Glasgow is the Seat for Valley County.
Valley County was founded in 1893 and was created by taking area from Dawson County.
From the Census Estimates for 2019, <1> Valley had a population of 7,390 people. This is an increase of 0.28% since the last Census (which gave a population of 7,369 people in 2010).
At the time of the 2010 Census, Valley represented 0.74% of the total population of Montana.
