The town of State Line is primarily located in Greene County<1>. A portion of State Line extends into Wayne County.

Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, State Line had an population of 556 people. This is a decrease of 1.59% since the 2010 Census (or an increase of 0.18% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, State Line had a population of 565 people. This makes State Line the county's 2nd most populous community.

The population of State Line represents 0.02% of the population of Mississippi (which has 2,967,297 people), making it the state's 200th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 565 people, the population of State Line increased 1.8% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 555 people).
