From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Nicholson was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<8>

X2X - From that list, the Nicholson post office opened in 1884.

We also found Nicholson on a map titled Rand McNally Map of Mississippi (1911).
