Needmore would have been located within present day Tallahatchie County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Needmore, you might consider that their post office opened  in 1890.

While the community is gone, the present day location for Needmore is 140 feet [43 m] above sea level.<4>.

Time Zone: The area where Needmore was located is in the Central Time Zone (CST/CDT) and observes daylight saving time

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Needmore was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<6>

From that list, the Needmore post office opened in 1890.
