Welcome to Keith ...

So far, we found very little information about Keith. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added Keith to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. While we don't have the exact location of Keith , we believe that it would have been located within present day Attala County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Keith, you might consider that their post office opened in 1904.

Time Zone: The area where Keith was located is in the Central Time Zone (CST/CDT) and observes daylight saving time

Using our Gazetteer, we found that there are 17 communities that are also named Keith - they are located in Alabama (2), California, Georgia, Kansas, Kentucky, Missouri, Nebraska, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Texas, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia and Wisconsin.

The earliest source we've referenced which mentioned Keith was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<3>

From that list, the Keith post office opened in 1904.
