Welcome to Healds ...

So far, we found very little information about Healds. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added Healds to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. We would especially like to find the location of Healds - knowing its coordinates, we can explore things like its relationship to neighboring communities, nearby cemeteries, etc. If you can help us with Healds, please Contact Us.

While we don't have the exact location of Healds , we believe that it would have been located within present day Attala County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Healds, you might consider that their post office opened in 1902.

Time Zone: The area where Healds was located is in the Central Time Zone (CST/CDT) and observes daylight saving time

The earliest source we've referenced which mentioned Healds was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<3>

From that list, the Healds post office opened in 1902.

We also found Healds on a map titled Rand McNally Map of Mississippi (1911).
