From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Sparrow was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<5>
From that list, the Sparrow post office opened in 1882.
We also found Sparrow on a map (with an unknown title) dated 1904.
