Welcome to Schuyler ...

So far, we found very little information about Schuyler. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added Schuyler to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. We would especially like to find the location of Schuyler - knowing its coordinates, we can explore things like its relationship to neighboring communities, nearby cemeteries, etc. If you can help us with Schuyler, please Contact Us.

While we don't have the exact location of Schuyler , we believe that it would have been located within present day Cass County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Schuyler, you might consider that their post office opened in 1869.

Time Zone: The area where Schuyler was located is in the Central Time Zone (CST/CDT) and observes daylight saving time

The Area Codes where Schuyler was located: 816 & 975<3>

Using our Gazetteer, we found that there are 5 communities that are also named Schuyler - they are located in Nebraska, New York, Pennsylvania (2) and Virginia.

The earliest source we've referenced which mentioned Schuyler was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<4>

X2X - From that list, the Schuyler post office opened in 1869.

We also found Schuyler in the book titled List of Post Offices in the United States (1870).
