Welcome to Saint Johns ...

So far, we found very little information about Saint Johns. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

While we don't have the exact location of Saint Johns , we believe that it would have been located within present day Franklin County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Saint Johns, you might consider that their post office opened  in 1816.

Using our Gazetteer, we found that there are two Missouri communities named Saint Johns: This one is located in Franklin County and the other is located in Saint Louis County.

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Saint Johns was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<3>

From that list, the Saint Johns post office opened in 1816.
