While our initial information about Lone Star came from various goverment sources (GNIS, FIPS), we also found mention of Lone Star in various books, maps and other sources.

We've created the following list to keep track of the sources that proved useful in adding to our knowledge about Lone Star. We hope that they will be useful to you.

Note: When we started collecting data about Lone Star, we were inconsistent about keeping track of where that data came from. As a result, this list of references and mentions is probably incomplete.
